Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Valid Drivers License
• 21 years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check drug screening and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients passengers and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disturbances medical situations and alarms and communicate updates to site leadership and public agency partners as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals curbside areas parking structures and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas by observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic verifying credentials or authorization as required and documenting observations in activity reports.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities incidents and policy violations and assist with crowd direction and queue management during peak travel periods as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
