Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Rover in Irving TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. This role requires an armed guard card or license and offers a fast-moving environment where agile reliable and innovative teammates put people first and act with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of lobbies ATM areas parking areas drive lanes and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas verify credentials when required and assist with orderly entry and/or exit for employees vendors armored couriers and visitors.
- Respond to alarms disturbances and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement as required.
- Complete detailed reports on patrols incidents and observations and communicate security-related concerns promptly to Allied Universal leadership and the client contact.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 or more years of security experience.
- Have an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
- A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
