You will greet and assist employees and visitors communicate clearly with staff and responders and document observations in detailed reports. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation and timely notification to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points observe for unusual conditions and report hazards maintenance issues and/or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols incidents and daily activities and communicate relevant updates to site representatives and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
