Job Description
As a Security Guard - Residential Roving Driver in Glen Oaks NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community you will conduct mobile and foot patrols stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to calls with professionalism. This is a driving post and requires a valid drivers license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will deliver strong customer service and communication while supporting an agile reliable and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Respond to alarms calls for assistance disturbances and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner; request law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity that may help to deter unauthorized entry trespassing and/or property damage; report concerns per post orders.
- Document patrol activity incidents and maintenance concerns in written and/or electronic reports and communicate updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
