As a Security Officer - Corporate Patrol in Columbus OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location you will monitor activity conduct routine patrols and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge verification respond to concerns with clear communication and deliver a welcoming customer service experience. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to associates drivers and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical calls alarms and conflicts and notify management and/or public responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses yards loading docks parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points verifying identification and/or shipping documentation directing traffic flow for trucks and deliveries and documenting visitor vendor and contractor activity per post orders.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports monitor cameras and alarm systems as assigned and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and site contacts using radios phones and/or computers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
