Job Description
As a Armed Security Officer - DOD Clearance Required in San Antonio TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-profile aero and defense location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence and respond to security-related incidents with clear communication and strong customer service. *Must have an active DOD Security Clearance*
*Must have an active Texas Armed Security License*
Pay Rate: $25.15 / Hour

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees contractors and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders including maintaining control of issued equipment and following all applicable use-of-force and reporting requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with site contacts and local public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas production and office spaces and the perimeter using access control points and surveillance systems as applicable to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Document patrols incidents and observations in written and/or electronic logs and communicate noteworthy conditions to supervision and site representatives per established protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
- CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- An Texas armed guard card and/or license is required
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
