Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Flex Utilities Patrol in Lancaster TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings yards substations parking areas and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
- Control access at gates entrances and vehicle checkpoints by verifying authorization checking identification and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
- Complete required reports and logs such as patrol activity incident documentation and equipment status checks and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- An Armed Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
