As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol in Trenton NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a busy healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols of corridors entrances and parking areas remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents and respond to calls with calm professional communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following site-specific access control and security-related procedures within a healthcare location.
• Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to clinical staff and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas such as lobbies corridors waiting areas and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances restricted areas and high-traffic zones checking identification visitor credentials and delivery activity in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrol activities incident details and unusual conditions in written logs and reports and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Hold a state county or city issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
