Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Fort Worth TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Armed Patrol Officer at a high-traffic retail location you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and respond to alarms incidents and customer needs with calm clear communication. This role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity teamwork and an agile reliable innovative people-first approach.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the store entrances parking areas and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems observe customer and employee activity and document unusual activity to help to deter theft trespassing and/or disorderly conduct.
- Complete detailed reports maintain required armed post documentation and communicate significant events to onsite management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 or more years combined law enforcement corrections and/or military experience or have 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
- Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
