As a Security Officer - Driver Route Patrol in Brookwood AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an unarmed driving patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols support access control and document security-related observations to help reduce incidents. You will stay visible communicate clearly with site teams and visitors and respond to concerns with professionalism. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting onsite leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas warehouses parking lots and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity hazards to operations and/or policy violations.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points checking identification and/or visitor credentials directing deliveries and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols observations and incidents and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and onsite stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
