As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Port Arthur TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support access control and visitor guidance. You will document observations communicate clearly with onsite teams and respond to issues with professionalism. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site contacts and/or public responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas administrative spaces parking areas and the perimeter noting unusual activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns and reporting them through approved channels.
• Control access points by verifying identification and/or credentials managing visitor entries and directing traffic or deliveries per site procedures.
• Complete security-related reports patrol logs and incident documentation and communicate observations to supervision and site representatives during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
