Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Pekin IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conducting routine rounds and remaining highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns document observations and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. This role requires an Armed Guard Card and/or License and reflects Allied Universal values of agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity with a people-first culture.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by following site-specific procedures access control requirements and security-related policies and/or supporting emergency response activities when needed.
- Carry a firearm in accordance with licensing requirements and post orders maintaining proper weapon handling storage and documentation while on duty.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with management and local law enforcement as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor cameras entrances and controlled areas for suspicious behavior complete thorough incident reports and communicate timely updates to supervisors and client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
