Job Description
As a Security Guard - Hospital Patrol Driver in Mayfield Heights OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff patients and visitors while delivering strong customer service and responding to situations with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. Allied Universal is agile reliable innovative and people-first delivering through teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors waiting areas entrances parking areas and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity hazards and policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with clinical staff and/or local emergency services as needed.
- Support access control by monitoring entrances verifying authorized entry assisting with visitor directions and helping manage queues and/or after-hours entry per site policies.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation communicate observations to site leadership and participate in shift briefings and other post orders as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
- Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
