As a Cleared Security Patrol Officer in Colorado Springs CO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location as an unarmed driving patrol officer supporting day to day security-related operations. You will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help deter incidents assist with access control document activity and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings work areas parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Support access control by checking credentials verifying authorization for entry and directing visitors and deliveries according to site-specific requirements.
• Complete detailed shift documentation such as activity logs incident reports and patrol reports and communicate relevant observations to the Allied Universal chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid Class B drivers license with passenger endorsement is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
