Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Armed Patrol Rover in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations communicate clearly with site personnel and/or visitors and respond to situations with professionalism. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating notifications to site contacts and public responders as required.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings process-adjacent areas parking lots and perimeter lines helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned checking identification logging entries and exits and directing deliveries and contractors per post orders.
- Complete shift reports and incident documentation note unusual conditions and communicate observations to supervisors and/or site management per reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 1 years armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
