A Day in the Life
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible to support Manufacturing and NPD departments. This role will play a critical part in driving financial performance cost control investment analysis and strategic decision-making across production and innovation activities. The position reports to the site finance lead Switzerland.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Serve as a finance partner to Manufacturing OPEX and NPD management teams acting as a bridge across organizations.
Collaborate closely with the OPEX team to identify and accelerate cost-saving opportunities across multiple workstreams.
Act as the site finance lead deputy.
Support the Tier 3 management level and participate in weekly gemba walks.
Partner with team members to develop and evaluate business cases supporting Capital investment opportunities.
Develop ad hoc reports to support analyses. Work on special requests projects and financial presentations for management as required
Partner effectively with COEs cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to align finance support with business objectives.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance with exposure to manufacturing finance and R&D environments or experience in a Big 4 audit firm.
Strong understanding of standard cost accounting and FP&A.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced complex environment.
Familiarity with programmatic cost-saving initiatives in industrial or technology sectors.
Fluent in French and English both written and spoken.
