Job Summary

Responsibilities

To operate the waste reception equipments and S&R Plant in safe smooth and efficient manner.
To assist the Shift Leader (S&R Plant) in fulfilling his roles and responsibilities.
To comply with safe working procedure and Permit-To-Work system.
To be responsible for achieving the plant operation targets.
To coordinate with other Operation Sections and Maintenance Section in matters related to S&R Plant O&M activities.
To supervise the operations of solid waste reception and S&R Plant
To maintain good work culture and discipline during shift duty.
To monitor and control processes and recording of operation activities and experiences.
To conduct routine checks on plant system and equipments
To carry out front line maintenance
To carry out isolation and normalization of equipments for maintenance.
To trouble-shoot study process and equipment fault.
To carry out all field operation works and supervise the general workers/sorters.
To ensure general workers/sorters practice personal hygiene
To ensure proper house-keeping and cleanliness of S&R plant
To assist the Shift Leader in preparation of operation reports and documentation.
To assist the Shift Leader (S&R Plant) in attending to plant emergencies.
Any other duty as assigned by Shift Leader (S&R Plant).

Requirements

Qualification/Experience

Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Min. 2 years of relevant working experience in the operation and maintenance of Material Recycling Facilities (MRF) plant or similar industrial plant.
Able to work on rotating shift
Able to work in solid waste processing environment.
Team-oriented self driven meticulous
