ELV Technician
Job Summary
Job Description Skilled Technician (LV/ELV Cabinet Assembly)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform LV/ELV cabinet assembly in line with project specifications and quality standards.
Carry out internal wiring and equipment mounting as per the approved General Arrangement (GA) drawings and Internal Wiring Diagrams.
Install electrical components such as relays contactors terminal blocks circuit protection devices and other related components within the cabinet.
Execute termination labeling routing and dressing of cables ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
Conduct functional testing continuity testing and insulation checks for all components within the cabinet.
Ensure proper documentation of work including test reports and material usage.
Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions when required.
Adhere to all HSE policies electrical safety procedures and quality control requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
ITI/Diploma in Electrical Electronics or related technical field.
Proven experience in LV/ELV panel/cabinet assembly and wiring.
Ability to interpret GA drawings schematics wiring diagrams and termination schedules.
Hands-on experience in testing and checking electrical components.
Strong understanding of electrical standards and safe work practices.
