About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Application Software Engineer with IBMi expertise to join a dynamic team managing a global spare parts portfolio. The team handles refill and buyback operations across 3800 dealers worldwide. The portfolio includes four different applications and the team is distributed across Sweden and Poland. This role involves handling both one-time and runtime activities contributing to the smooth operation and evolution of critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop maintain and support IBMi applications.

• Execute one-time projects and initiatives to improve system functionality.

• Ensure smooth runtime operations and resolve system issues efficiently.

• Collaborate with a distributed team across multiple countries.

• Explore opportunities to integrate IBMi technology with modern cloud-based solutions (preferred).

Requirements:

• Strong experience with IBMi.

• Experience with both one-time activities (projects upgrades enhancements) and runtime operations (support troubleshooting).

• Proficient in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud technologies and experience integrating IBMi with modern platforms.
