Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent must be able to lift 30 - 50 lbs and have the ability to work at a quick pace. Successful completion of a comprehensive background check is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble garage doors using various hand tools power tools and operating equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Apply appropriate identifying labels to doors and/or boxes where required.
- Visually inspect parts for defects; replace parts that dont meet quality specifications.
- Monitor supply of production materials available at work station; reorder as needed.
- Maintain accurate and neat daily production reports.
Skills and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of hardware required for various door models.
- Ability to read and write a limited number of words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
- Ability to count and perform simple math operations to determine information such as weight temperature and quantity.
- Must be able to perform lockout tagout.
- Ability to meet production and quality standards.
- Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team.
