Job Summary

Job Title:Interoperability & Health IT Architecture Lead

Location:Richmond VA(Hybrid)

Long Term

Key Responsibilities

Assess current EHR platforms health IT infrastructure and deployment models

Evaluate interoperability readiness standards adoption and data exchange gaps

Analyze alignment with FHIR HL7 C-CDA TEFCA and HIE participation

Identify technical barriers to interoperability including rural provider constraints

Define technical requirements and success criteria for Provider Interoperability RFPs

Provide guidance on vendor solutions and architecture best practices

Experience Needed:

8 12 years in Health IT architecture or interoperability

Hands-on experience with major EHR platforms (Epic Oracle Cerner Meditech Athena eClinicalWorks)

Experience supporting HIEs TEFCA readiness or statewide data exchange initiatives
