Matt Bowers Ford is looking for a detail-oriented organized and experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our growing team.

This position plays a critical role in keeping our dealership compliant accurate and efficient. Were looking for someone who understands title processing inside and out can manage multiple deals at once and ensures that every transaction is completed correctly and on time.

Responsibilities:

Process all new and used vehicle titles and registrations in accordance with Louisiana regulations
Prepare tax title and DMV documents accurately and timely
Submit all legal transfer work to the appropriate state agencies
Verify funds and lien payoffs prior to processing title applications
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation
Prepare payoff checks for trade-ins and new vehicle purchases
Bill dealer trades and prepare Certificates of Origin
Maintain tracking system for out-of-state titles
Compile and monitor outstanding title work and report status to management
Process warranties and extended service contracts
Post vehicle sales and purchases
Assist with dealer tag renewals
Stay current on Louisiana title regulations and compliance requirements
Support F&I and sales staff with title regulation updates
Maintain a clean organized and professional work area

Qualifications:

Prior automotive title clerk experience required
Strong knowledge of Louisiana DMV procedures
Experience with dealership management systems
Strong organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
Valid drivers license
