Warehouse Stock Clerk
Ensures meticulous control of parts inventory and facilitates efficient parts ordering for customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Scan all parts that come in each day and facilitate putting them up.
- Assist in shipping and receiving by unpacking and packing boxes; organize parts on shelves.
- Unload trucks inspect shipments for damage and process returns as needed.
- Conduct physical counts of parts and supplies for cycle inventory.
- Notify Parts Manager of stock-outs and low stock issues based on inventory system data or visual inspection.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Stock and record incoming orders.
- Help get wholesale truck ready each day by pulling orders.
- Cleaning and organizing upstairs and downstairs
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in general computer database usage.
- Basic understanding of inventory management mathematics and effective communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state drivers license required.
- Prior experience in parts management preferred.
