DescriptionAs the first point of contact for guests the Doorman plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and luxurious experience. This position is responsible for greeting guests assisting with luggage opening doors and coordinating with valet and concierge services to ensure smooth arrivals and departures.
The ideal candidate must be:
- knowledgeable of all local attractions restaurants entertainment ideas and directions.
- Must always present a pleasant customer service attitude. Greet every guest with a smile.
- Understand and practice aggressive hospitality.
- Responsible for opening doors for all guests entering and exiting the hotel.
- Assist guests with transportation to offsite locations using only approved taxi/limo service.
- Maintain accuracy and composure while under pressure.
- Knowledge of hotel layout meeting rooms amenities services main attractions in the area parking rates etc.
- Continually monitor and maintain cleanliness and order of guest services area.
- Post up in appropriate area when not completing tasks

- Open doors and assist guests with luggage packages or strollers.
- Provide directions and information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Coordinate with valet staff to ensure efficient vehicle handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized entrance area.
- Assist guests with hailing taxis or arranging transportation.
- Monitor guest flow and ensure a safe and secure entrance.
- Support bell staff and concierge with guest service needs.
- Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to hotel security.
