Sake A Go Go is Louisvilles newest high-end Japanese sushi restaurant located in the heart of NuLu. Built with serious intention around technique product quality and guest experience this is a refined big-city-caliber concept designed for long-term success.

Position Overview
We are looking for a Sushi Chef to work our gorgeous sushi bar TuesdaySaturday for dinner service focused on high-level craftsmanship not simply turning out rolls and nigiri but executing with precision technique and intention.
We are seeking a skilled professional who values cleanliness speed consistency and disciplined execution.
Compensation

$22$30 per hour(based on experience skill and availability)

Responsibilities

Execute nigiri sashimi and maki with strong knife skills and proper technique

Fabricate whole fish and maintain strict storage standards

Maintain a clean organized service-ready sushi station

Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols

Engage professionally with guests when appropriate

Contribute to seasonal features and menu development
Requirements
-
2 years experience in an upscale or high-volume sushi environment

Fish fabrication experience required
Strong understanding of traditional Japanese technique
Ability to work clean fast and consistently
Professional composure under pressure
Omakase experience and sake knowledge are a plus.
