The VP of Sales is responsible for leading our inbound and outbound sales strategies and international market expansion efforts. - Develop and execute comprehensive inbound and outbound sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Lead mentor and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients partners and stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends customer needs and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and drive innovation.
- Conduct market research and analysis to assess international market opportunities competitive landscape and regulatory requirements.
- Build strategic partnerships and alliances with international distributors resellers and channel partners to extend market reach and penetration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing product development and finance to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics and sales KPIs to track progress and performance.
- Implement and optimize sales processes tools and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on sales performance forecasts and pipeline activity.
- Stay current on industry trends best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve sales strategies and tactics.
- Foster a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous learning within the sales organization.
Requirements
Required Education Experience & Skills
- Bachelors degree in business marketing or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in sales leadership roles with a track record of success in driving revenue growth and building high-performing sales teams.
- Proven experience in developing and executing inbound and outbound sales strategies in a competitive market environment.
- Proven experience in developing and executing international market expansion strategies including market research partner/channel development and localization efforts.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire motivate and mentor sales professionals.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Results-oriented with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools (such as Salesforce).
- Ability to travel as needed 15%-25%.
Preferred Education Experience & Skills
- Experience working in sports sectors.
- Experience with Salesforce.
