Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Position Details:
Our Med Surg Service Line offers a dynamic environment where youll gain experience across 8 specialty units caring for patients with a wide range of diagnoses and needs. These units support patients preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions giving you the opportunity to build a strong foundation in diverse clinical skills.
While youll have a home unit we believe in cross-training to broaden your expertise and confidence in caring for patients with varying conditions comorbidities and procedures. Whether youre a new graduate looking to launch your nursing career or an experienced LPN seeking variety and growth Med Surg is the perfect place to thrive.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or equivalent experience with licensure).
Licensure: Current LPN license in the state of practice; must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
