*Email resume and cover letter to York Revolution President & General Manager - emailprotected*The primary goal of the Director of Marketing for the York Revolution is to increase sales of tickets and other products for the team and events at Wellspan Park in York Pennsylvania. This includes developing and implementing a consumer marketing and advertising strategy as well as supporting the work of the Sales Department by creating a receptive audience of advertisers and group sales purchasers. The primary and ultimate measure of success for this position is the sale of tickets and similar purchases for Revolution baseball games and related businesses. This position plays a key role in defining and promoting the York Revolution brand including overseeing all graphic and creative design as well as the game day experience for our guests.

Key Role Accountabilities: Manage all Marketing Department personnel. Indirectly hire and manage interns and all event staff such as the rally crew camera operators mascot PA announcers and other game production personnel.
Create and execute the external marketing plan including Revolution individual season and group ticket sales special events and merchandise.
Possess fundamentals in graphic design content to ensure brand standards are maintained manage and protect the application of brand standards and Revolution marks internally and externally create continuity across marketing initiatives and project effective advertising messages.
Coordinate closely with the Assistant General Manager to ensure excellent fulfillment of all sponsor obligations in advertising materials and game presentation including executing client signs and other advertising messages in all Revolution applications.
Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager Community Engagement Manager and other appropriate team members to create an annual promotional schedule to generate ticket sales to Revolution games.
Oversee digital marketing efforts including website digital and email marketing
Oversee and execute external and internal advertising campaigns including negotiating with external providers such as billboard and radio stations.
Assist in the creation and manage the external marketing budgets for the Revolution and non-baseball endeavors.
Work closely with the General Manager of WOYK Radio to plan and execute marketing activities to increase listeners to the station and create a receptive advertising sales audience.
Manage the public communications for the organization includes all press releases digital media posts media advisories Revolution app and website. Organize and execute local media appearances and interviews for incoming entertainers and/or Revolution players to maximize exposure to the public.
Indirectly manage the game day operations through the Marketing Managers efforts to put on a high level entertainment experience.
Indirectly manage booth and work with Booth Supervisor to ensure high-quality of the game-day audio-visual content and on-field entertainment.
Manage the maintenance and operations of all stadium digital display equipment and software in use with video boards and audio systems.
Maintain editorial control and ensure timely and accurate production of all print production including playbill flyers posters and any other external print communication regarding the organization.

Minimum Role Requirements
College degree and at least five years of experience in marketing preferably in sports events or advertising.
Working Conditions
A minimum 40 hour week and 8 hour Monday-Friday work schedule is required of all full time employees during the off-season. This schedule will include some weekend hours for special events as determined by the General Manager or the President.
Work hours during the baseball season will exceed 60 hours per week and 12 hours per day on game days including evenings and weekends. The baseball season work schedule may also include 7 or more consecutive work days.
Physical Demands will require the employee to stand walk sit use hands climb stairs balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities of the job include close vision distance and peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job the employee is normally exposed to normal indoor air-conditioned temperatures as well as exposure to the sun. The noise level in the work environment is usually low where hearing protection is not necessary based on OSHA requirements.
