Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Engineer to join our global Network Services team within Continental Tires this role you will take ownership of the global DNSDHCP infrastructure support Meraki and separation firewall environments and contribute to datacenter and core network architecture.
You will work in a dynamic international environment alongside global regional and local teams to ensure secure reliable and scalable network operations.
Your Responsibilities
Core Network Services & Operations
- Operate maintain and further develop the global DNSDHCP infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability security and performance of globally managed network services (DNSDHCP Meraki LAN Core Network).
- Perform monitoring backup restore compliance checks and lifecycle activities.
Meraki Firewalling & Datacenter Networks
- Support and operate Meraki deployments across global and local sites.
- Manage and troubleshoot separation firewalls and segmented network zones.
- Contribute to the operation and continuous improvement of local datacenter networks.
Engineering Design & Standards
- Participate in the design engineering and documentation of network architectures.
- Define implement and enforce global standards and processes.
- Evaluate new technologies and support service improvement initiatives.
L3 Support & Consultation
- Resolve complex thirdlevel incidents and problem tickets.
- Collaborate closely with central regional and local IT teams to support hardware lifecycle and configuration quality.
- Provide expert consultation to locations on core network infrastructure.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Several years of handson experience in enterprise network environments.
- Proven background in DNSDHCP firewalling and datacenter or branch networking.
- Experience in global operational roles and large distributed infrastructures.
