ABOUT THE ROLE:
The GTM Digital Innovation Lead (Senior Manager) is a hands-on execution role responsible for leading strategic projects as well as the program management and operational excellence supporting CEEs GTM digital innovation initiatives. This position will work under the leadership of the Head of GTM Digital Innovation & Operational Excellence and work closely with CEE GTM Digital Innovation & Launch Excellence strategy and operations Leads.
For initiatives under purview of GTM Digital Innovation & Operational Excellence team this role will:
- Own portfolio governance coordinate the end-to-end intake qualification prioritization and activation (in certain cases) for programs and projects that align to enterprise strategy and compliance expectations improve commercial execution accelerate time-to-insight reduce risk increase productivity for field / medical/ marketing teams and enhance customer experience.
- Apply governance oversight and controls to all initiatives within the CEE GTM Digital Innovation pillar as well as shared initiatives which cut across the other 5 enterprise capabilities pillars within CEE (ie. xCEE teams) including Agentic AI use case portfolio.
- Support the development of new business cases and deliver scalable Proof of Concepts (POCs) for cutting-edge digital capabilities as well as optimize commercial excellence by leveraging data-driven value metrics/KPIs.
- Optimize ways of working and cross functional collaboration across CEE GDD&T BU/BF DD&T and other business stakeholders as relevant
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
For initiatives under purview of GTM Digital Innovation & Operational Excellence team this role will:
Portfolio Governance:
- Lead a collection of work (i.e. epics special/strategic projects) and understand the desired business outcomes to establish organize and direct individual sub-projects within their specified domain.
- Initiate and plan programs consisting of multiple projects and work streams with medium complexity.
- Monitor the performance of programs projects and service delivery and provide visibility of performance to stakeholders.
- Provide transparency of resource needs manages interdependencies facilitates escalations and communicate impacts.
Innovation Ideation and Implementation:
- Support ideation workshops exploring disruptive concepts that can transform commercial methodologies.
- Test and validate groundbreaking ideas that demonstrate potential for market success and which can be scaled.
- Manage as appropriate for new innovation initiatives intake-to-prioritization workflows sprint/release cadence compliance and privacy checkpoints and adoption enablement
- Collaborate with DD&T BU teams to enable successful downstream localization and market execution
Launch Excellence:
- Partner with key stakeholders to support the creation and management of an integrated view of all DD&T launch plans across assets
- Collaborate with DD&T BU and GDD&T teams to identify innovation opportunities and help drive ideas from concepts to execution
- Support the development of key reporting mechanisms aimed at providing senior executive leadership with views into demand cross-BU launch planning etc
- Serve as a key contributor to Launch Council preparation
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a connector across and partner with Takedas existing enterprise capabilities product/platform teams to ensure synergy and alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Build effective communication channels with teams external partners and stakeholders and communicate with key stakeholders on status risks and accomplishments to ensure the successful delivery
- Foster synergy among marketing sales GDD&T BU DD&T and CEE product/platform teams to guarantee seamless governance and deployment
Education / Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in business engineering data/digital or related field (advanced degree a plus).
- 6-8 years relevant experiences; with extensive program/project management in a Digital Technology Operations environment experience in healthcare industry in business operations or related and understanding of drug launches commercialization and global healthcare systems (preferred); 24 years in portfolio operations PMO or product ops preferred.
- Experience running Agile cadences (sprints/releases) Jira/Portfolio management and basic WSJF-style prioritization.
- Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem medical/legal/compliance review processes and data/privacy concepts; AI/GenAI initiative experience strongly preferred
- Extensive experience partnering with multiple stakeholders to plan and deliver programs.
- Ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.
- Ability to utilize data collection analysis maintenance application and refinement methods to make fact based decisions.
- Highly skilled in self-motivation persists through challenges guides others in staying motivated
- Ability to set priorities develop workflow processes.
- Ability to write and speak in the English language
