Role Summary/Purpose:

The Cell Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of operators in executing heavy duty gas turbine blade repairs and fuel nozzles at GTS repair facility.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Cell Supervisor is expected to comply with The Spirit & Letter shop EHS Policy GE Power Quality Policy to meet the organization targets in line with business strategy.

Coordinate and provide EHS technical quality and production leadership to assigned Cell to meet Fulfilment 5 Goals.

Provide on-going support in scheduling resources technical leadership and facilitating the flow of hardware to meet customer requirements.

Maintain the materials distributed to the job as per the Plan.

Communicate production requirements to the operators as per the production.

Assigning tasks to each member of his team.

Maintain effective shift handover on a daily basis.

Maintaining productivity as per target hours.

Maintain the Job folders and Standard plan stamping.

Control the flow of the parts as per the production plan.

Drive the closure of Jobs.

Drive EHS compliance and continuous improvement.

Ensure jobs are completed as per Quality requirements and report any Non Conformances to operations leader and QC Inspectors.

Ensure closure of Quality and EHS Concerns / Findings.

Own maintenance in his product Line or process and communicate any maintenance issues to operations leader directly.

Maintain calibration and serviceability of measuring tools and equipment in assigned area

Analyse and diagnose machine and tooling problems and take corrective measures to minimize downtime and interruption of schedules. Ownership of P&E Tools & Equipment in assigned areas.

Maintain the serviceability of Tools Fixtures and instruments in assigned area.

Ensure compliant Kronos Vouchering for his team.

Track and communicate the individual operators performance to the operations leader.

Qualifications/Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in heavy duty gas turbine repairs

Level 2 welding certification

Strong organizational skills

Ability to lead and motivate others to accomplish business objectives

Knowledge of job planning scheduling and coordination. Desired Characteristics:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong Interpersonal skills

Fluency in English Language

Knowledge of MS Office Tools
