Specialists deliver exciting science experiences through exhibits workshops and educational programs they provide feedback to help shape development and use their people skills to coach and mentor a team of staff and volunteers in the delivery of an exceptional visitor experience. As the successful candidate you will have a science or equivalent degree in geology earth science mining space or chemistry presentation skills that WOW and proven leadership skills. Position Highlights:Developing delivering training and overseeing the delivery of programs and workshops Planning organizing and delivering programs and initiatives with external partnersSupporting research prototyping development and evaluation of new countertop exhibitsDriving and implementing delivery standards to ensure exceptional visitor experiencesLeading and overseeing aspects of programs/exhibits related to area of expertise including staff performance training workshop/content and exhibit developmentLiaising coordinating supporting and collaborating with internal and external clients Anticipating needs/issues identifying solutions and responding to client/visitor complaints/concernsDeveloping implementing training and delivering special events programing such as the Dynamic Earth annual Halloween eventQualifications:Post-secondary degree/diploma in geology earth science mining space or chemistry with 2-4 years related experience is requiredDemonstrated experience in designing implementing and delivering training with programs or workshops Demonstrated experience mentoring/guiding staffFluency in English required.
