Science North is currently recruiting a STEM Communicator for Dynamic Earth where we deliver rockin STEM Communicator will work with the STEM Operations Specialist and STEM Specialists in the creative development delivery and evaluation of Dynamic Earths visitor experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for science excellent verbal communication and presentation skills and a commitment to continuous Responsibilities:Visitor engagement across the science centreDeliver individual visitor experiences at Dynamic Earth including underground toursDeliver engaging school programs & special event programmingDeliver public workshops and programsTask and deploy science demonstrators and volunteer teamsSupport public program developmentAssist with inventories and maintenance of equipment materials & suppliesMaintain and troubleshoot daily operations and exhibitsEnforce safety protocols and report any issues to supervisorsParticipate in the weekend rotation - additional compensation provided if applicableWhat You Bring:Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills in English and French (non-negotiable) Engaging presentation and program delivery skillsA positive and fun attitude with demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a teamDemonstrated leadership abilityProven ability to embrace teamwork yet be self-motivatedStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsA passion for learning and enthusiasm to take on challengesAvailability to work weekdays with willingness to work some evenings weekends and public holidaysCompensation Highlights:Fixed term contract ending June 30 2026 Starting at $20.50 per hour Full-time hoursScience North annual personal membershipOnsite gym (Ramsey Lake Site) Free or discounted admission to other attractions outside Sudbury Science North facilities and program discounts free on-site parkingProfessional development opportunitiesThis opportunity is not suitable for remote or hybrid workThe successful candidate must be able and available to report to Dynamic Earth 122 Big Nickel Road Sudbury ON.
