Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Transcriptionist to join our team at Fairwinds Technologies. As a Transcriptionist you will play a vital role in transcribing audio files into written documents accurately and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Transcribe audio files into written documents following specific guidelines and formatting standards.
- Proofread and edit transcriptions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Research terminology and technical information to ensure proper transcription.
- Maintain confidentiality of all transcribed information.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of transcriptions.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in English language grammar and punctuation.
- Excellent typing and listening skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using transcription software and tools.
Desired Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in general transcription.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with technical or scientific content is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
