About the role

Join a fast-growing fintech where your work actually matters. INETCO is looking for a hands-on self-motivated accountant to join our collaborative finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the day-to-day accounting function thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking for a long-term role where they can grow alongside the business.

Youll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly supporting month-end close and contributing to special projects and admin support as the company continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements
Process accounts payable payments
Prepare and process customer invoices and apply incoming payments
Provide maintenance and reconciliation of accounts
Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Prepare and file GST/PST returns
Support audits financial reviews and ad hoc reporting requests
Contribute to special projects and process improvements as needed

About you

Min 2 years of full cycle accounting experience
Diploma or equivalent in accounting
In depth knowledge of accounting principles processes and controls
Proficiency with QBO Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint Plooto and Salesforce experience is a plus)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a close-knit team
Positive self-motivated and eager to learn
