Objective of the role

The person holding the role of Senior AP Holding specialist is responsible for uploading coding and booking vendor invoices and is the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding queries linked to invoices and

payments. The person is also responsible of running Accounts Payable reports and ensuring timely invoice booking.

Areas of responsibilities:

Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices in the appropriate systems as per deadlines

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with appropriate internal and external stakeholders

Work with related parties to ensure the clearing of AP balances

Analyze Supplier Account Balance and monthly Accounts reconciliation balances

Recommend process improvements to create greater efficiency and productivity

Perform controls and run payment proposals as per the agreed calendar

Ensure accuracy of transactions performed by the AP Holding Specialist

Accurately reflects AP posting and collection of payments applied to ledgers including clearing supplier balances

Ensuring that valid processes are in place for payment purposes and entering payments into accounting system

Ad-hoc support:

Maintain vendor statements and communicate with vendors when necessary

Answer vendor and internal customers AP related queries

Issue and query resolution related to invoice discrepancies with appropriate internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in business or economics (preferred)

Strong knowledge regarding invoice key elements and payment process

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Previous experience with SAP is a plus

Minimum of 2-3 years in supplier accounting billing or finance

Proficient in English (C1); Dutch/French is a plus

Quality and accuracy-oriented mindset
