Here your work will contribute to a smarter greener future where automation enhances everyday life and paves the way for sustainable are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Validation & Test Engineer to own and evolve our hardware test strategy across EMC environmental robustness and validation efficiency. This role strengthens product quality by improving test coverage repeatability and automation reducing latestage issues and will be a key technical leader working closely with cross-functional teams including system architects circuit designers PCB layout engineers software developers and compliance engineers to ensure our products achieve optimal is a handson labfocused role with growing influence on test infrastructure tooling and automation.

AS A SENIOR HARDWARE VALIDATION & TEST ENGINEER YOU WILL:

  • Define and execute hardware validation plans in accordance with best practice in test engineering and design of experiments.
  • Ensure test coverage aligns with product risk safety classification and industrial use conditions.
  • Identify validation gaps early and drive closure prior to certification or release.
  • Perform inhouse precompliance testing for emissions immunity ESD EFT and surge.
  • Characterize failures document root causes and work with hardware and layout teams on corrective actions.
  • Coordinate thirdparty compliance testing and certification.
  • Own or support environmental testing including shock vibration temperature humidity and related stresses.
  • Ensure test conditions reflect realworld installation and operating environments.
  • Develop and enhance test automation to increase repeatability and reduce manual effort.
  • Create automated test setups scripts and datacapture methodologies where applicable.
  • Standardize test procedures fixtures and report across programs.
  • Act as an independent verifier to identify issues missed during featurefocused development cycles.
  • Reduce certification failures latestage defects and field escapes through disciplined testing.
  • Mentor junior test engineers and technicians.
  • Help establish best practices for validation methodology and documentation.
  • Collaborate with external consultants for advanced EMC or atypical issues.

WHO YOU ARE:You demonstrate a strong ability to manage complexity and make highquality decisions by approaching hardware challenges in a methodical and pragmatic waydigging into root causes using diverse data sources and making sound datadriven decisions even without complete information. You apply techsavvy thinking by integrating practical engineering constraints with emerging best practices ensuring solutions work reliably in realworld conditions. Your commitment to optimizing work processes and driving results is evident in how you emphasize repeatability robust test coverage and improvements not only in product quality but also in the systems and methods teams use to test. You demonstratestrong accountability by grounding your work in data validating outcomes and ensuring quality at each step.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related STEM field.

  • 4 years in hardware validation test engineering or EMCfocused test roles.

  • Exposure to EMC testing and general hardware validation.

  • Exposure to environmental testing (shock vibration temperature humidity).

  • Proficiency with common hardware troubleshooting equipment such as oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers EMI receivers ESD equipment or related EMC instrumentation.

  • Familiarity with schematics PCB layouts and concepts of EMI/RFI for PCBs. EMI/RFI protections.

  • Experience developing test plans executing tests independently and driving issues to resolution.

  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States sponsorship will not be provided for this role. You MUST be a U.S. citizen or a green card holder

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • Experienceor strong interestin test automation scripting and improving validation efficiency.
  • Experience testing industrial automation SIS or DCS hardware.
  • Familiarity with IEC 610004x CISPR and industrial EMC/compliance standards.
  • Experience designing or improving automated test setups.
  • Focused on owning hardware quality and setting high standards for quality
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers or technicians.
  • Experience coordinating external test labs or consultants.
  • Proficiency using rework and soldering stations.
  • Familiarity with laboratory management.
