Position Overview

TheSenior Project Analystserves as aPost Award Specialistthatprovideshigh-qualityprogrammatic and grants management support to Head Start (HS) and Early Head Start (EHS) role ensures that grantees receivetimelyguidance monitoring and technicalassistancein accordance withFederal statutes regulations and OHS Specialist also supports national regional and special OHS projectsparticularly thoserequiringdeep contextual understanding rapid response and specialized content expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain detailedaccurateelectronic grant files including records of grant applications negotiations amendments andpost awardchanges.
  • Utilize OHS systems such asGrantSolutionsand the Head Start Enterprise System (HSES) for tracking documentation and analysis.
  • Process specializedgrant fundingactionssuch as waivers key hiressupplemental fundingetc.
  • Under the direction of the COR provideexpertisein support of national OHS priorities special projects and onetime initiatives.
  • Developingcross agencypresentations policy materials and content that clarify intersections between OHS and other federal or state systems.
  • Assistwith national OHS initiatives meetings andspecial eventsasrequested.
  • Provide subject matterexpertiseacross major Head Start content areas as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsor mastersdegree in early childhood education Child Development Education Program Management Public Administration or related field.
  • 3 yearsof professional experience inHead Startprogram support or program management.
  • 1 yearsof experience analyzingprogramor data trends ina humanservices or early childhoodcontext.
  • 1 years of experience supportinggrant fundedprograms with ongoing monitoring.
  • US government issued security clearancerequired(will beinitiatedupon hire)
  • Valid drivers license and ability to pass an MVR check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a Head Start or Early Head Start program.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project/data management tools.
  • Strong analytical andproblem-solvingskills with the ability to interpret data and apply regulatory guidance.
  • Excellent written oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in afast pacedenvironment with discretion diplomacy and sound judgment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with federal staff T/TA partners and diverse stakeholders.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position including but not limited to relevant work experience skills certifications and competencies that align to the specified role geographic location education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$67355.00 - $114503.00
