Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified and experienced professional to join the Supply Chain function as a Sourcing Specialist Supply Chain (D2). This role is ideal for a driven individual with strong commercial awareness analytical capability and a passion for procurement excellence.

Requirements:

Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
Business Administration/ Finance/ Supply Chain Degree or NQF 7 equivalent
Purchasing and Supply Chain Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in or NQF 5/6/7 equivalent
At least 4-5 years relatable experience in mining industry
3 years experience in Sourcing and Commodity Management
3 years experience in Commercial Technical and Financial Commodity portfolio experience
MS Office & SAP MM Module

Responsibilities:

Execute sourcing activities in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
Facilitate the end-to-end tender and procurement process.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation policies and governance requirements.
Perform contract administration and compliance monitoring.
Assist with the evaluation of supplier proposals and tender submissions.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation records and reports.
Provide support in managing supplier relationships and performance.
Assist the relevant Category Manager in achieving procurement goals and strategy.
The specialist function includes prioritizing commodity imperatives aligned with the commodity cycle planning aimed at reducing the cost of commodities goods and services procured by the company.
