Inviting applications for the role Manager- Network Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect with a minimum of 15 years of experience in IT networking and associated technologies. The ideal candidate will possess advanced network design capabilities and deep domain expertise in solutions including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN) and advanced routing and switching. This role requires familiarity with Cisco Palo Alto and Arista hardware as well as other technologies like ZScaler and Netskope. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing implementing and optimizing our network infrastructure to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience in handling customer conversations and customer engagement
Delivery of complex solutions coordinating internal and customer IT teams to ensure successful delivery and delight of the customer.
Design and implement complex network architectures that meet business requirements and industry standards.
Develop and maintain network solutions with a focus on BGP SDWAN and advanced routing and switching.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems.
Conduct regular network performance assessments and implement improvements.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure futureproofing of network solutions.
Common Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Advanced Network Design: Expertise in designing scalable and secure network architectures.
Routing Protocols: In-depth knowledge of BGP OSPF EIGRP and other routing protocols.
SDWAN Solutions: Experience in deploying and managing SDWAN technologies for optimized network performance.
Hardware Proficiency: Familiarity with Cisco Palo Alto and Arista hardware platforms.
Security Technologies: Understanding of security solutions such as ZScaler and Netskope.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
Project Management: Experience in managing large-scale network projects from inception to completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
Proven track record of successful network architecture projects in large enterprises.
Certifications in relevant technologies at the professional level (Cisco and/or Arista).
