Business Managed Technology Lead

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at a client office (Toronto) at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.

BMT Lead will assist TAO (Technology Application Owner) in onboarding new technology assets and managing the lifecycle of BMTs

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.Manage BMT intake queue for onboarding new BMTs
.Collaborate with BMT Migration factory resources and Business Owners (BAO) for accurately establishing current state and target state
.Assist in deriving remediation plan for Archer findings and ensuring regular updates
.Coordinate with Solutions Architect to migrate the BMT from business to Technology managed environment and ensure that the proposed solution aligns with BMT migration strategy and meets enterprise standards
.Coordinate with Enterprise Protect (BISO) for completion of TARA and Control Gap assessment (CGA)
.Assist in deriving the plan to address CGA findings
Assist in registering all BMTs accurately in client Asset Registry.
.Support Lifecycle management of the client Asset Registry Application Code (MAL code)
.Contribute to establishing currency roadmap for the application (including release dates and end of life date)
.Ensure the application runs on fully supported versions of all software products
.Plan currency remediation projects and establish resourcing and funding requirements for coming years
.Understand the Banks direction for the technologies that the application is using including lifecycle state and divesting of a technology
.Assess the currency risk for an application regularly
.Establish formal implementation plans for deployments and changes including testing promotion to production and post-implementation review
.Deploy the application changes by following established enterprise project methodology (PDLC) and adhere to all required gating and artifacts
.Oversee Incident Management; coordinate with application support team to Investigate diagnose and resolve incidents including security related incident events
.Collect analyze and report on impacts to solution performance availability and capacity
.Schedule root cause analysis meeting discuss incident capture and assign tasks identify root cause and permanent fix solutions
.Contribute to Technology Risk and Cybersecurity Controls
.Provide support for audit and regulatory reviews coordinate service provider responses
.Define and manage remediation plans to address any identified control deficiencies

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must Have:

8 years of experience working in Business Managed Technology role preferrable in banking domain.

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95000$145000. This role is an existing vacancy.
