Join the NVFS Family: Northern Virginia Family Services (NVFS) is seeking a Bilingual Social Worker / Case Manager to provide community-based support to youth and families across Northern this role you will help children with emotional and behavioral challenges access coordinated services through Virginias Childrens Services Act (CSA) will work directly with Spanish-speaking and immigrant families helping them navigate complex service systems connect to behavioral health supports and build stability for their children.
As the Lead Case Manager you will coordinate care across providers advocate for families and ensure youth receive the services they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Case Management & Family Support
Conduct youth and family assessments including CANS (Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths)
Develop individualized family service plans
Connect families with behavioral health services and community resources
Advocate for youth and families navigating complex service systems
Collaboration & Coordination
Participate in Family Planning Team meetings
Coordinate care with schools providers and community partners
Monitor youth progress and service effectiveness
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain documentation in the agency electronic health record system
Ensure compliance with CSA guidelines contracts and agency standards
Your Background: We understand that you may obtain skills through a variety of professional personal educational and volunteer experiences.
- Masters degree in Social Work Marriage and Family Therapy Counseling or equivalent
- Oral and written fluency in English; Spanish language fluency
- Must have at least two (2) years of related direct service experience providing:
- individual and/or group services to youth and families
- case management and
- working with youth with behavioral health care needs
- Experience providing services to Spanish speaking immigrants and recently reunified families and youth strongly preferred
- Digital and technical proficiency including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to demonstrate and live the organizational values of Communication Integrity Respect Collaboration and Accountability.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of background checks upon hire
- Must clear Motor Vehicle Record check have valid S. drivers license and have own transportation in order to transport clients
- Must have reliable transportation to visit client homes and other designated community locations
- May be called upon to work beyond normal working hours
