Job Summary
Assists with the establishment implementation and maintenance of internal controls for
customs brokerage
Works with the sales department to develop client-specific procedures for all clients but
especially with the on boarding of new clients.
Manage the Crane Customs Bond relationship with bond vendors set up bonds as
needed
Lead the CFS set ups for new CFS spaces with the CWW branch and Customs
responsible for accounting reconciliation reporting intra-company A/R and assist with
accounting related issues as required
Provide training to employees involved in brokerage related activities
Plan organize schedule and lead the audit activities of the brokerage department.
Document audit findings and prepare reports with recommendations for presentation to
senior management.
Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and processes to
make the brokerage process more efficient.
Analyze critical issues trends and root causes and identify solutions that best address
issues as needed.
Production of recurrent or ad hoc reports metrics and presentations for senior
management.
