Description
This on-site contract position provides a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical practice environment delivering critical care to patients in need.
As a Locum MD/DO in Emergency Medicine you will play a vital role in providing immediate medical attention to patients experiencing urgent health issues. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring high-quality patient care and effective treatment outcomes in our facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
- Conduct thorough assessments and examinations of patients
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff for coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
- Stay current with best practices in emergency medicine
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in emergency medicine settings is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Flexible Scheduling: 9 or 12-hour shifts
Shifts available at multiple facilities
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
