About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking an exceptional Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science Studio and drive innovation in cloud this role you will own machine learning and AI projects end-to-end from initial research and experimentation through development deployment and production management.

This is a hands-on technical role for someone who thrives on collaborating with brilliant people and seeing their work make a real-world impact protecting thousands of organizations worldwide.

What Youll Do:

Lead end-to-end ML projects: Own the complete lifecycle of machine learning initiatives in cloud security from problem formulation and research through model development deployment and ongoing production management
Develop production-grade ML models: Build and deploy scalable robust ML solutions for cloud threat detection anomaly identification and security risk assessment
Drive innovation in cloud security: Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in machine learning and AI to solve novel security challenges in cloud environments
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with security researchers to understand threat landscapes work with engineers to ensure seamless production integration and engage with product managers to align solutions with customer needs
Mentor and influence: Share knowledge with team members contribute to technical strategy and help establish best practices for ML development and deployment
Stay ahead: Work within an ever-advancing team that adopts new R&D technologies

What Youll Need:

5 years of hands-on experience in data science machine learning or AI with demonstrated ability to deliver production ML systems
Strong ML fundamentals: Deep expertise in machine learning algorithms statistical modeling with proven ability to select and apply appropriate techniques to complex problems
End-to-end ownership experience: Track record of taking ML projects from research through production deployment and ongoing management
Production ML expertise: Experience building deploying and maintaining ML models in production environments including monitoring debugging and optimization
Programming proficiency: Strong coding skills in Python and ML frameworks; experience with cloud platforms is a plus
Security domain knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity concepts is highly desirable; experience in cloud security is a significant plus
Collaborative mindset: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
Problem-solving excellence: Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous complex problems with creative data-driven solutions
