What You Will Do:
We are searching for a Laboratory Technician to provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute on Aging. This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Baltimore MD.

• Receive and log samples.

• Maintain specimen integrity and verify accuracy of all information.

• Familiarity in working with proteins.

• Assign a unique lab sequence number to each specimen according to protocols; assess each specimen for condition liquid or frozen quantity adequate or not adequate and appearance normal hemolyzed icteric lipemic.

• Comply with laboratory SOPs regulatory and safety guidelines and environmental policies and procedures; adhere to SOP and CAP regulations for data input in laboratory information systems storage and retrieval for information.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelors Degree

• A minimum of ONE (1) year of experience in research or laboratory setting.

• Experience working in Biorepository and familiar with biorepository practices.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD public trust; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their public trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred
