Overview
Ansible Government Solutions LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support the Dayton VA Medical Center located at 4100 West Third Street Dayton OH 45428. Available shift schedules include days and you accept employment with Ansible you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities
- Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing
- Analyze verify and accurately report test results
- Complete STAT testing within 60 minutes of receipt
- Communicate critical values to providers and document readback
- Perform and document quality control (QC) and proficiency testing
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Manage reagents supplies and inventory
- Follow laboratory SOPs CLIA CAP Joint Commission and VA standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of results QC and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA OSHA and patient safety regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of experience
- Must hold current MLT certification from:
- ASCP (BOC or BOR)
- AMT
- American Association of Bioanalysts
- No sponsorship available
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit stand walk lift squat bend twist and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
