Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Watershed Security is a Veteran Owned Small Business with over 20 years Cybersecurity and Government Contracting experience. Watershed is looking for a Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) to conduct independent comprehensive assessments of the management operational and technical security controls and control enhancements employed within or inherited by an information technology (IT) system to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls. NQV shall provide independent cybersecurity support analysis documentation and validation services for OPTEVFOR IT systems. Role serves independently as a Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) performing validation activities under the RMF process using Navy Security Control Assessor approved processes and applies knowledge of DoD or DoN network architectures and policy toward assessment and identification of vulnerabilities as a means of improving operational security posture in accordance with the Risk Management Framework Process Guide series. NQV shall apply Navy Assessment & Authorization (A&A) guidance and policy to achieving/maintaining program objectives on time/schedule and guidance regarding vulnerability remediation and determination of risk posture.; onsite in Norfolk VA.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
PAY RANGE
Final salary is influenced by factors such as location contract labor categories experience skills education and certifications. Watershed offers competitive compensation medical and dental benefits educational reimbursement 401K plans with matching 15 days of PTO to start and 11 paid holidays per year. The proposed salary range for this position is: $105000.00 - $115000.00 USD.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 8 years experience as an NQV
- Proficiency in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
- Familiarity with DoD Application and Database Management System (DADMS)
- Thorough understanding of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) controls
- Must have one of the following valid Certifications:
- Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA)
- GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
- GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA)
- Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)
- Must have active TS with SCI Eligibility
- Work is onsite in Norfolk VA Monday Friday 8am -4.30pm EST
- Possibility of travel up to 10%
- IBS degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity Data Science Information Systems or Computer Science
- Experience in DOD preferably Navy Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) environments
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communications
