Job Summary
Job Title: EEG Technician
Location: Ithaca NY 14850
Schedule: Day Shift MondayFriday 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $45 $50 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EEG Technician to perform diagnostic neurophysiology procedures including electroencephalograms (EEG) and nerve conduction studies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in EEG testing strong patient care skills and the ability to ensure accurate data collection while maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Perform EEG procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols
Conduct nerve conduction studies as required
Prepare patients for testing and clearly explain procedures
Monitor patient safety and comfort during examinations
Accurately record and document diagnostic results
Maintain calibrate and troubleshoot EEG equipment
Collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical staff
Required Qualifications
Experience performing EEG and nerve conduction studies
Strong knowledge of neurodiagnostic procedures
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Registered EEG Technologist () certification preferred
Experienced non-registered technicians will also be considered
