Job Summary
ThepositionforSeniorProjectManagertakesfullresponsibilityforavarietyofelectrical will have a significant understanding of the local market and have a strong acumen for business development in this newer region well as will haveasuccessfultrackrecorddemonstratingacompleteunderstandingofproject managementresponsibilitiesincludingprofitsupervisioncustomerrelationsfiscal andcontractmanagement.
Responsibilitiesinclude:
- SupervisemultipleProjectManagerswhoaremanagingmultipleprojects.
- Manageupto$30million-dollarelectricalconstructionprojectsormultiplelarge projectssimultaneously.
- Decision-makingresponsibilityconcerningprojectcosttimeandperformance.
- Accountabilityforprojectplanningexecutionjobcosttrackingandjobclosure.
- Providemonthlyprojectstatusdetailandpercentofcompletionreports.
- Monitorandcontrolprojectthroughadministrativedirectionofon-siteforementoensureprojectiscompletedonscheduleandwithinbudget.
- Initiateandmaintainliaisonwithownersandothercontactstofacilitate projectactivities.
- Planaheadtopreventproblemsandresolveanyemergingones.
- Interfacingwithcontractorsvendorsandin-houseoperations.
- Cross-sellingofothercompanyoperationsthroughfullyintegratedsolutions.
- Supportinganinjuryfreeworkenvironmentandsafetyculture.
Requirements
- Minimum15yearsexperienceinsellingestimatingandmanaging multi-million dollar Industrial Construction or Advanced Technology projects.
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineeringplus10years construction project experience; or in lieu of degree 5 years experience as an Electrical Foreman or General Foreman on large projects plus 10 years as a Project Manager required.
- Provenrecordofsuccessfulrelationshipsandmarketingskillspreferred.
- Superiorknowledgeofelectricalcodesandconstructionmethodsrequired.
- Musthaveprovenexperiencemanaging100kman-hourprojects.
- Provenexperiencewithheavypowerdistributionsystemsinstrumentation installationandprocesscontrolandsystemintegrationrequired.
- ThoroughappliedknowledgeofprojectQA/QCproceduresandsystemturnover.
- Abilitytodemonstrateahighlevelofcompetencyinlabormaterialandcontractmanagement.
- Competencyinearned-value tracking labor efficiency index and crew composite factors.
- Provenabilitytocompleteadetailed take-off and all required estimating for electrical projects.
- Relevantexperienceinelectricalsubcontractingisamust.
